Mid/Sen React Engineer

We are looking for a middle-level Frontend Engineer with React knowledge who can help our team work on an enterprise network-focused project. The candidate should have a strong background in computer science and experience using React and Typescript. The product is a complex application representing a network simulator that monitors, analyses, troubleshoots, and assures the networks in real time. It helps identify anomalies, provide root-cause analysis, plan capacity, and manage and accelerate troubleshooting. The Bytex team is large, with 10+ engineers (including the senior React Team Leader) who work on frontend, backend, and testing using the Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React
• Build reusable, scalable, and high-quality UI components and modules
• Work with REST APIs and ensure efficient data handling
• Optimize components for maximum performance and avoid unnecessary network calls
• Develop new features and contribute to migrating and modernizing the existing codebase
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (UI/UX, Backend, QA) in an Agile environment
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, maintainable code
• Take ownership of features end-to-end – from requirement clarification to delivery
• Contribute to building and integrating AI-driven features into the product

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with frontend technologies
• Good React knowledge and understanding of its core principles
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript, along with state management libraries (e.g., Redux)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of UI design and user-oriented thinking
• Basic understanding of code versioning tools such as Git or SVN
• Familiarity with modern frontend build pipelines and tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, Parcel, etc.
• Experience designing and building reusable and scalable UI components and modules
• Experience with micro-frontend architectures (e.g., Module Federation)
• Ability to take ownership of features, from requirement clarification to delivery
• Experience in AI concepts (LLMs, agents, MCP, AI-assisted workflows) is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proactiveness, adaptability, and quick learning abilities are strong pluses

Working schedule

• EU 9-18 flexible schedule
• Weekly meetings at 18:00 EEST (usually on Tuesday and Thursday)
