Backend Development
The teams at Bytex build scalable and easy to maintain Web Services that are used by our clients for things like collecting and analyzing security parameters by Cyber Security Analysts or gaining access to their workspaces.
The scalability and maintainability of our services are based on business logic structured into multiple loosely coupled layers that together build our final product.

Job Description
We are seeking a mid-level Go engineer with experience working with AI agents for one of our most significant projects in collaboration with Cisco. The product is a complex application representing a network simulator that monitors, analyzes, troubleshoots, and assures the networks in real time. It helps identify anomalies, provide root-cause analysis, plan capacity, and manage and accelerate troubleshooting. The Bytex team is large, with more than 15 engineers who use the Agile methodology to work on the front end, back end, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices in Go;
- Develop and integrate REST APIs;
- Integrate AI agents into backend workflows and support their operation and management;
- Containerize services with Docker and deploy them using Kubernetes;
- Create and maintain Jenkins pipelines and jobs for build, test, and deployment workflows;
- Troubleshoot issues and improve service reliability and performance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing backend services in Go; personal projects are a plus;
- Understanding of concurrent programming in Go;
- Experience working with AI agents, including deep understanding of how they operate and how to manage them;
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
- Experience creating or maintaining Jenkins pipelines and jobs;
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs;
- Experience with Git;
- Solid understanding of algorithms and good problem-solving skills;
- Basic Python knowledge for scripting and integrations is a plus;
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch is a plus;
- Understanding of networking concepts, including network layers, switches, and routers, is a plus.
Working schedule
- 2-3 Weekly meetings (30-60 minutes long) at 18:00 or 19:00 CET;
- EU flexible schedule (9-18).
